In Darbhanga, police have arrested two people including a teacher with liquor in a Fortuner car. The accused teacher has been identified as Kapileshwar Mandal, teacher of Middle School Urdu Maulganj. The matter is of Ekmighat of Bahadurpur police station area.
Teacher arrested during vehicle inspection
Regarding the incident, police say that vehicles were being checked in Ekmighat. Then, seeing the approaching police, a Fortuner started running back quickly. Seeing the driver of the Fortuner trying to drive away, the police swung into action and chased him away and caught him. During investigation, five illegal foreign liquors were recovered from the vehicle. Police arrested two people sitting in the vehicle. Also seized the vehicle. During interrogation, it was revealed that one of the two arrested people was a teacher.
Teacher was going to have a drinking party
In this regard, Bahadurpur police station incharge Sunil Kumar said that a thorough search of vehicles was being done for the security of the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, the Fortuner vehicle was passing near Ekmi intersection. The police stopped that vehicle and searched it. During the search, five bottles of 180 ml foreign liquor were seized from the vehicle. Also teachers Kapleshwar Mandal and Dhananjay have been arrested. According to the police, the arrested persons are Kapleshwar Mandal, a resident of Bankers Colony of Laheriasarai police station area and Dhananjay Gupta, a resident of Gangapatti of Bahadurpur police station area. Kapleshwar Mandal is a teacher in Urdu Middle School, Maulaganj. Were coming towards Laheriasarai from Samastipur side. During this time both of them have been arrested by the police of Bahadurpur police station. It is said that the district police was on high alert regarding the arrival of the Prime Minister and the arrested government school teachers were going somewhere for a liquor party.
