Criminals shot an iron trader in Patna. With the help of nearby people and police, the injured iron trader was admitted to the subdivision hospital, where doctors referred him to PMCH Patna for better treatment. The family members took the iron trader to a private nursing home in Patna for treatment, where he died during treatment. The deceased iron trader has been identified as Abhay Singh. The incident took place near Usman Chak turn in Lahsunna police station area.
Shot while returning from shop
Regarding the incident, local people say that Abhay Singh was returning home after closing his shop in Masaurhi market. In the meantime, four criminals came near him on two motorcycles and fired bullets at him. He was returning home after closing his shop in Masaurhi. Then four criminals riding on two motorcycles reached him near Usman Chak turn and fired bullets at him. The criminals shot Abhay Singh in the chest and leg. As soon as he was shot, Abhay Singh got injured and fell on the ground. As soon as he fell on the ground, the criminals fled from there. On hearing the sound of firing, the people nearby rushed there. Meanwhile, people informed the local police station about this.
Police engaged in investigation
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the Masaurhi Police Sub-Divisional Officer reached the spot. Regarding this matter, Masaurhi Police Sub-Divisional Officer Nav Vaibhav said that the police have recovered two shells from the spot. When asked about the reason of the incident, he said that there could be a mutual dispute. After the incident, the police is investigating the matter through the FSL team and dog squad on the spot. He said that the police has started raids in search of the criminals.
