Yes, a similar incident happened in Bettiah, Bihar, where a sub-inspector who was creating ruckus after drinking alcohol has been arrested. The matter pertains to Patkhauli police station of Bagaha police district.

In this regard, the police say that the inspector came drunk and started creating ruckus in the police station premises. First some policemen tried to convince him, but he was not ready to accept it. He was continuously creating ruckus. Then the policemen informed this matter to the senior officer. Taking immediate action on the orders of the officers, the Inspector was arrested. Then the medical examination of the accused inspector was done. The investigation confirmed his drinking. The arrested inspector has been identified as Mohammad Ashraful Haq Khan, resident of Nainghat under Sadar police station of Darbhanga district, who was working in Patkhauli police station.

In this regard, SP Sushant Kumar Saroj said that the accused inspector has been arrested. Consumption of alcohol has also been confirmed. Police have registered the case and are taking disciplinary action in the matter.
