In Bihar, a laborer who had gone to ask for his outstanding wages was killed by slitting his throat with a sharp weapon. After the incident, the family members took the body to the police station, after which the police sent the body to Sadar Hospital, Gopalganj for postmortem. The deceased was identified as Ajay Shah (25), son of late Laxman Shah, a resident of Kishunpur Dakshin Tola Lakdi Nabiganj of Siwan district. The incident occurred in Babu Vishunpur village under Jadopur police station area of ​​Gopalganj district.

Family members say that Ajay Sah used to work in a private construction company in Chennai. Meanwhile, he came home in July for his marriage. Ajay Sah got married on July 10. Then on July 19, he went back to Chennai to work with Parameshwar Mahato, a resident of the same village and clerk of Anand, the contractor of the construction company. He had told his family that he would return after a month, but he did not return home on the date mentioned. Meanwhile, on July 21, Gopalganj police sent information to the family that a young man has been injured by slitting his throat in Babu Vishunpur village of Jadopur police station area. On receiving the information, the family reached the hospital. The police told the family that Ajay Sah was found in an injured state, after which he was admitted to the local hospital. After first aid, the doctor admitted him to Gopalganj Sadar Hospital for better treatment, seeing his critical condition, but the doctor there also referred him to Gorakhpur Medical College for better treatment, where he died late at night during treatment.

Murder in the name of paying outstanding amount

The deceased’s mother Sunaina Kunwar told the police that her son Ajay Sah had been working with the accused Parameshwar Mahato for three years. Parameshwar Mahato took Ajay to Chennai promising him a salary of 20,000 rupees per month. But he did not pay him till date. He would only pay his fare and send him home. My son’s wedding was on July 10, for which he demanded money but he did not pay. Meanwhile, the accused called him and took him away with him on the pretext of getting him some work and paying him the outstanding amount and killed him. Based on the information received, the police immediately arrested the accused. After interrogation, the arrested accused was sent to judicial custody.
