The incident took place at Ramna Mod of Sherghati police station area. The victim businessman Rohit Sahu said that all the criminals were armed and they carried out the robbery on the strength of the weapon. Immediately after the robbery, the owner of the house called the police and informed them about the incident. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating.

Regarding the incident, local people told that at 7 o’clock in the morning, six armed miscreants suddenly attacked Rohit Sahu’s warehouse located at the busiest Ramna turn of the district. The miscreants entered the warehouse and took the house owner Rohit Sahu inside the house at gunpoint and then started robbing. They fled with 30 lakh rupees including cash kept in the house and gold and silver ornaments. The news of the robbery in broad daylight spread like wildfire in the city. On receiving the information, top police officials reached the spot and started investigation. The robbery incident has also been captured in CCTV cameras. During this, the local people also showed their displeasure over the working style of the police.

Police has started checking campaign by putting up blockades at various places in the city. After committing the crime, all the accused fled towards JP Chowk on bikes.
