A sensational incident of murder has come to light in Parna Dabar police station area of Nawada district. The father himself brutally murdered his one year old innocent son. The father picked up the son who was sleeping at home, locked him in the room, placed his head on a silbatta (a mortar and pestle used for grinding spices) and set out. Not only this, he was also attacked with iron rods. After the incident came to light, the people of the area were stunned. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police of Parna Dabur police station reached the spot and arrested the accused father. The husband carried out this incident after reaching his in-laws’ house due to a dispute with his wife.

This incident took place in Harnarayanpur village of Parna Dabar police station area of Sirdala block on Wednesday. The husband committed such an incident with his own child over a minor dispute with his wife. The maternal uncle of the deceased child told that sister and nephew had come to his house about a week ago. On Wednesday afternoon, all the members of the house were getting wheat harvested in the nearby barn. Meanwhile, the father picked up the child sleeping in the verandah and took him to the room and closed the door. Sensing the possibility of something untoward, the family members immediately climbed onto the tiled roof. Seeing the inside view from there gave me goosebumps. The family members entered the house from above. Then somehow the accused father was controlled by the family members and villagers.
The accused father could not give a big reason
The villagers informed the incident to Parna Dabur police station. Police Station Head Ranjan Chaudhary and Additional Police Station Head Sanjay Kumar reached the spot with their team. The police arrested the accused father. Also, the body was taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital Nawada for post-mortem. The arrested father is Sudhir Prasad Yadav, a resident of Banda Bardag village of insurgency-affected Mohanpur police station area of Gaya district. As soon as the information about the sensational murder was received, Rajauli SDPO Gulshan Kumar reached Harnarayan Pur village. Taking stock of the situation, the accused was interrogated on important points, although no major reason came to light. Villager Pintu Yadav, PACS President Lalan Chaudhary alias Lalu etc. present on the spot told that the case of Harnarayanpur village is very heart-wrenching. A speedy trial should be conducted against the guilty father and the harshest punishment should be given.
