Bihar: A person who had come to visit Rajgir, a famous tourist destination in Nalanda district, was shot dead by criminals. The person had come with four friends.

A tourist visiting Rajgir, a famous tourist destination in Nalanda district, was shot dead by criminals. The incident took place at 9 pm on Friday evening. The deceased has been identified as Manji alias Manjeet Kumar (32), son of Bharat Sonar, a resident of Dharhara in the Nagar police station area of Bhojpur district. Police have recovered five shells from the spot.
Everyone had gone from Bhojpur with four friends
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the local police reached the spot and sent the body to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for postmortem. The police is engaged in searching for the killers. Regarding the incident, Rajgir police station chief Raman Kumar said that the deceased Manji alias Manjeet Kumar had come for a walk with his four other friends. During this time, the criminals shot him on the Banganga bridge, due to which he died on the spot. The SHO says that why this murder was committed is not clear at the moment. The police is investigating the matter.
