Joyful atmosphere in Gaya
Dr. Bhim Singh’s ancestral village is Bidauli village in Naxal-affected Imamganj of Gaya district. After Dr. Bhim Singh Chandravanshi was given the Rajya Sabha ticket, there is tremendous enthusiasm among the people of Chandravanshi community in the district. District President of Bharatiya Janata Party OBC Cell, Prashant Kumar has welcomed this decision of Bharatiya Janata Party. He has said that under the BJP leadership, we express our gratitude to the leadership for giving this honor to the most backward people, especially the Chandravanshi community.
BJP engaged in helping OBC
Local people say that after the caste census in Bihar, top BJP leaders have started helping OBCs. He says that the OBC population in Gaya is 36 percent. The BJP leadership is engaged in achieving this in view of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Because Chandravanshi community has a large population in many Lok Sabha seats of South Bihar, which includes Gaya, Aurangabad, Jehanabad, Nawada and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s home district Nalanda.
Now BJP will get benefit
In the last Lok Sabha elections, the Grand Alliance had made RJD leader and National President of Chandravanshi Mahasabha Ashok Chandravanshi its candidate in Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s home district Nalanda. However, as per the compromise, he contested the elections on the ticket of former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi. Now by giving tickets to OBC community, BJP will get direct benefit on five seats in Lok Sabha.
