The son of the Sadar block chief was murdered in Arrah. The criminals shot him six times. After the incident, an atmosphere of tension and fear has been created in the entire area. The matter is of Ara-Buxar Fourlane 922 near Sarangpur village of Mufassil police station area. The deceased has been identified as Akhilesh Paswan, 22-year-old son of Ara Sadar block chief Jaikumari Devi.
It is being told that Akhilesh Paswan’s mother is the block chief. Akhilesh used to take care of all the work of his mother and on Monday morning he had gone from his home to Ara Sadar Block for some work. When he did not return till late evening, the family started searching. On Tuesday morning, around 4 am, the police received information that a dead body was lying on the roadside. The police reached the spot and took the body into custody. The dead body was identified and the family members were informed. Police say that raids are going on in search of the killers. Some people are being interrogated. Further action is going on in the matter.
Government should give compensation of Rs 20 lakh to the family members
Ramai Ram, father of the deceased, told that he had left home to do block work but did not return. We got information through the police that my son had been murdered. He was shot six times. The father told the reason for the murder that his opponents killed him due to political enmity. Because Akhilesh used to look after all the work of his mother. The number of crimes like murder and robbery is increasing day by day and the police administration is sitting idle. Despite the code of conduct, crime is not stopping here. Public representatives are being harassed by the police administration. But the criminal incidents happening in the area are not being controlled. We demand that the police arrest the criminals soon and the Bihar government should give a compensation of Rs 20 lakh to the family.
