In Bettiah, a woman was brutally assaulted by her own brother-in-law. The woman’s condition is critical. He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. There is sensation in the area after the incident. The incident took place in a village of Bairiya police station area of the district. Where a young man entered his sister-in-law’s room and tried to rape her by force. When she protested, she beat her sister-in-law and stabbed her with an iron rod in her private part. Hearing the scream of the victim, people from the neighborhood gathered and the accused ran away.

People hurriedly took the victim woman to PHC for treatment. After first aid, seeing the serious condition, the doctors referred him to GMCH Bettiah. Where the victim is undergoing treatment. The victim has applied to the police and pleaded for justice. Police Station Head Anjesh Kumar said that the woman has applied. An FIR will be lodged after investigation. Meanwhile, Medical Officer in-charge of Bairia PHC, Dr. Mithilesh Chandra Sinha said that there are injury marks on the woman’s body. There was bleeding from his private parts. The bleeding had stopped after treatment. His condition is improving. As a precaution, GMCH has been referred to Bettiah.
