A cane bomb was found on the Gaya-Koderma Grand Cord railway line. After getting the information about the bomb, there was a stir in the railway police. After this, the operation of all the trains passing through that route was immediately stopped. On getting the information about the bomb, a team led by the post in-charge inspector of Koderma Railway Security Force reached the spot and found that a cane bomb was kept on the up line. After this, the operation of trains has been stopped as a precaution.
Brakes imposed on the operation of all trains
Regarding the finding of the cane bomb, the post in-charge inspector of RPF said that a cane bomb has been seen on the up line between Banskatva-Yadugram station. After this, the movement of all trains has been stopped, due to which all the trains running on this section have stopped here and there. The bomb disposal squad has also been called from Gaya for investigation. Search operations are also being conducted in the surrounding areas.
Actions taken by unwanted elements
Here, an inspector associated with the operation of trains, on the condition of anonymity, said that the security control had earlier received information that unwanted elements could take some action on the railway track. After this, a bomb was found on the up line between Banskatva-Yadugram stations on Tuesday afternoon, due to which the railway administration is being cautious.
Bomb disposal squad is investigating
According to railway sources, when the RBNL employee first saw the cane bomb, he informed the security control about the bomb. After which the operation of trains was stopped. However, it was also told that around 4 o’clock in the afternoon, the Railway Engineering Department had informed the control about the line being fit for operation, but again the operation has been stopped as a precaution. It was told that the operation cannot be started until the bomb is examined by the bomb disposal squad.
