The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday filed its fifth supplementary charge sheet in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) undergraduate examination paper leak case. The names of five accused are included in this charge sheet, including the name of key gang member Amit Kumar Singh (Bokaro). CBI has alleged that Amit Singh conspired and executed the paper leak.
The charge sheet has been filed in the special CBI court of Patna. It has been told that Amit Singh got the support of Sudeep Kumar and Yuvraj Kumar (Bokaro), Abhimanyu Patel (Nalanda) and Amit Kumar (Patna) in paper leak and distribution. All these accused were involved in distributing leaked papers to the candidates in Bihar and Jharkhand.
So far 45 accused were arrested
CBI said in the statement that so far 45 accused have been included in the charge sheet in this case and all are in judicial custody. The chargesheet reads Indian Penal Code (IPC) sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 109 (abetment), 409 (criminal breach of trust), 420 (cheating), 380 (theft), 201 (destruction of evidence), 411 (possession of stolen property). Keep) and filed under Section 13(2) and 13(1)(A) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 Has been done. CBI started investigating this case on June 23.
