It is clearly visible in the picture captured in CCTV that the criminals entered the HDFC Bank and first of all took all the employees and all the customers who came to the bank at gun point and held them hostage. Bank employees say that the criminals entered the bank posing as customers. Then they took out weapons and held everyone hostage at gunpoint. The man wearing a helmet in the video is a criminal. As soon as he entered the bank, his other four companions entered the bank one by one. After taking everyone hostage, they started looting. This entire incident took place at HDFC Bank located at Harhar Mahadev Chowk of Nagar police station area.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, the city police as well as police from several other police stations reached there. Then Begusarai SP Manish Kumar also reached there. Regarding the incident, he said that criminals numbering 5 have looted Rs 20 lakh at gunpoint. He said that CCTVs of other places in the district including around the incident site are being scrutinized. SP Manish Kumar says that very soon the criminals will be caught by the police. Police is investigating this matter. Bank employees say that some bank employees were even beaten up by criminals but those criminals did not misbehave with the customers.
