Bihar government has taken major action against the captain who flew the helicopter of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar during Pragati Yatra. The government has suspended Captain Vivek Parimal, posted as Pilot cum Responsible Manager, Aircraft Organization.

It is alleged that

Captain Vivek Parimal has been accused of being continuously absent from service during the Pragati Yatra of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, and also did not discharge the responsibility of providing helipad clearance, co-ordinates, photos and videos to the helicopter operator. The Bihar government has taken action against Captain Vivek Parimal, terming it as serious negligence towards duty and indiscipline and suspended him.

No reply received for several days

Captain Parimal is posted as a pilot in the Aircraft Organization Directorate. Captain Parimal, while in office, did not receive the necessary currency for the operation of the state aircraft King Air C-90 A/B, VT-EBG, which is used to fly VIPs of the state like the Governor, Chief Minister and others. Captain Vivek Parimal has been missing since January 3 without any information. Several attempts were made to establish contact with him, but he could not be contacted. We waited for him for several days, but till now neither any information was given by him nor any reply was received from him. After not getting any news for several days, finally the Bihar government took major action against him and suspended him.
