Couple shot by criminals in Gaya. In this the wife died on the spot. The husband’s condition is serious. The incident took place in Sihauta village of Bhadwar police station area of the district. The couple were sleeping in their house late on Thursday night. Meanwhile, the criminals entered the house and shot. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot.
Criminals shot couple in land dispute
The police took the body of the woman lying dead at the spot into their custody and sent it to the hospital for post-mortem. Also, the husband who was injured in the firing incident was sent to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College Hospital for better treatment. Gaya’s Senior SP Ashish Bharti said that late on Thursday night, ten criminals who came over a land dispute shot a sleeping couple. In the said incident, woman Kulam Devi (48) died on the spot, while her husband Surendra Yadav (55) was seriously injured. He is undergoing treatment. SSP said that raids are going on in search of criminals.
Police should arrest the criminals soon
The family members say that the same people with whom the land dispute is going on have committed the crime. Police should take this matter seriously and arrest the accused as soon as possible. After the incident, the family members are in bad condition and crying.
