The ongoing three-day sermon program of top Buddhist religious leader Dalai Lama at the international tourist destination Bodhgaya in Gaya, Bihar ended on Sunday. However, despite the severe cold, Buddhist religious leaders and devotees from different countries remained gathered at the Kalachakra Maidan. As per the scheduled time, the religious leader reached Kalachakra Maidan, where he started the program with religious chanting from the stage of the huge pandal.
The sermon was broadcast through radio
The Dalai Lama began the sermon program in Tibetan language on the last day. Strict security arrangements were made regarding this at Kalachakra ground. The translation of his sermon was broadcast through radio in many languages of the world. At the same time, on the last day of the program, about 60 thousand devotees from many countries including Sri Lanka, Tibet, Bhutan, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia participated. Where he peacefully listened to the sermon of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
‘Mental concentration is necessary to attain Bodhisattva’
During his sermon, religious leader Dalai Lama told the people that you need to identify yourself. The messages of Lord Buddha should be assimilated, only then will there be peace in the world. Mental concentration is necessary to attain Bodhisattva. The welfare of humanity will come only through mutual brotherhood and friendship. Never be jealous. In this era of modernity, there is a need to recognize oneself and remain mentally focused, only then will peace come.
