A woman died under suspicious circumstances in Nalanda on Friday. The matter is of Malama village under Sarmera police station area. The deceased has been identified as Saraswati Devi, 28, daughter of late Awadh Singh. The dead body of the woman has been recovered by the police hanging from a noose in her maternal house. Late in the evening, with the help of police, the family reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem of the body.

After the incident, Saraswati Devi’s mother Bevi Devi told that she was not at home. His daughter and son-in-law were alone in the house. When she returned from the market after completing her work, she saw that her daughter was hanging from the fall of her saree in one of the rooms. Baby Devi accused her son-in-law of murder. Said that the son-in-law had come home only two days ago. When she reached home, her son-in-law was not present at home.
Mother-in-law accuses son-in-law of murder
Baby Devi told that there was a dispute going on in the daughter’s in-laws house for about six months. After this Saraswati lived here. He also has two children, who live in their grandmother’s house. The daughter was living with him for the last six months and was going to Delhi on Saturday. Baby Devi told that she did not know the reasons for which there were fights in her daughter’s in-laws’ house. Alleged that the son-in-law himself murdered his daughter, hanged the body and ran away. About 13 years ago, Saraswati was married to Chandan, a resident of Toda village of Sarmera police station area.
Police searching for husband
Here, Sarmera police station probationer DSP Mohammad Azharuddin said that a case of suspicious death of a woman has come to light. Some people are being interrogated. The woman’s parents have accused the woman’s husband of murder. His search is on. The body has been taken into custody and sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. At present the police is busy finding out the cause of death. The body has been sent for post-mortem. The case is being processed.
