The death of a married woman under suspicious circumstances in Giriak police station area of Nalanda has created a sensation in the area. The incident took place in Sangatpar village. The deceased has been identified as 26-year-old Sunita Kumari, who was the wife of local resident Raja Sahu. Sunita’s family has made serious allegations and said that their daughter has been beaten to death.
Injuries and wounds were seen in many places
Giving information, Sunita’s maternal uncle Ranjit Kumar Gupta said that Raja Sahu was a drug addict and was addicted to gambling. He would often ask for money and jewelry from Sunita, which she would oppose. Due to this, she was beaten up. On Saturday night, on receiving information from the villagers, the family and the police reached the spot. Sunita’s two children and mother-in-law were present at the scene, while her husband was found absconding. Injuries and wounds were seen at many places on the body of the deceased.
The body has been sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital
Sunita was married in 2017. The family says that even at that time they had given dowry according to their status. Giriak police station in-charge Sakendra Kumar Bind said in this case that the body has been taken into custody and sent to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The real cause of death will be known only after the post-mortem report comes. At present, the police is investigating the entire case thoroughly.
