In Sitamarhi, a woman jumped into a pond with her three innocent sons. When the people from the nearby area reached, it was too late. All four had died due to drowning. Villagers say that the woman committed suicide along with her three children due to the quarrel with her husband. The incident took place in Shrirampur village under Bela police station of Sitamarhi district. It was told that before committing suicide, the woman had also set her house on fire. After this, she jumped into the pond of the village with her three children in the middle of the night. The police, who reached the spot after getting the information of the incident, are currently engaged in the investigation of the case.
The younger sister said- brother-in-law vomited after drinking alcohol
Police have identified the deceased as Sanjeev Sah’s 30-year-old wife Manju Devi, 6-year-old son Aryan, 4-year-old son Sushant and 2-year-old son Himanshu, residents of Shrirampur village of Bela police station area. It is being told that Manju Devi’s husband lives in Ludhiana and works in a private factory there. At present, on receiving the information, the deceased’s maternal family reached the spot. Manju Devi’s father Thaga Sah said that last night the daughter and son-in-law talked on the phone. During this, a dispute broke out over something. Thaga Sah said that Sanjeev lives in Ludhiana with his younger daughter and son-in-law. The dispute escalated after he vomited after drinking alcohol. My younger daughter called Manju and said that brother-in-law has vomited in my house after drinking alcohol. After this, there was a dispute between Manju and her husband.
He set the house on fire before committing suicide
After the dispute, Manju set fire to her first house. After this, she committed suicide by jumping into the pond of the village along with her three children. The people living nearby got information about the fire. After which we family members were searching for everyone. Meanwhile, the bodies of all four were found in the pond this morning. After getting information about the incident, a crowd of villagers gathered at the spot and many people started talking about it. Some people present informed the local police station. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the matter. At the same time, preparations are being made to take the body into custody and send it to Sitamarhi Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. SP Manoj Kumar Tiwari said that the woman had a dispute with her husband late on Tuesday evening. The matter is under investigation. Everything will be clear when the post-mortem report comes.
