Kishanganj District Education Officer Nasir Hussain had issued an order regarding the study of Urdu in all CBSE affiliated schools. As soon as the order was issued, there was anger among the directors and leaders of all the private schools across the district. After this, the District Education Officer has withdrawn his order. It is noteworthy that on December 30, District Education Officer Nasir Hussain had given instructions regarding the study of Urdu in all the private schools of the district which are affiliated with CBSE (letter number 1649). After which this order was strongly criticized by political party leaders and school management. Also, BJP leaders had taunted on this.

It is known that in the meeting of District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (Disha), the issue was raised by Kishanganj’s Congress MLA Izharul Hussain and Congress MP Dr. Javed Azad that Urdu is not being taught in the private schools running in the district, whereas this The district is minority dominated. Regarding which DEO had issued a letter.

On Wednesday evening, District Education Officer Nasir Hussain has withdrawn the order issued. Issuing the letter, he said that by canceling the relevant letter, it is requested that the running of the school should be ensured as per the conditions of the No Objection Certificate and the parameters set by the CBSE Board.
