In Sitamarhi, fearless miscreants have committed robbery of Rs 5 lakh, including Rs 3 lakh in cash, from a doctor’s house. This incident took place just 500 meters away from Bhasar Picket of Sitamarhi city, where masked criminals took hostages at gunpoint and committed robbery. This robbery took place in the house of Dr. Anisur Rahman in Bariyarpur of the city. Dr. Anisur Rahman has informed the police about the incident. Now the police is investigating the matter.

Robbers entered the house in the name of drinking water

Regarding the incident, the victim doctor Dr. Anisur Rahman told that at around 4 am on Thursday, some people came near his house and said, I am thirsty, will I get water? Saying this he entered their house. As soon as his wife went to fetch water, about half a dozen miscreants entered their house and took everyone hostage. As soon as the hostages were taken the criminals started looting. The doctor said that the robbers had looted jewelery worth around Rs 5 lakh along with three lakh cash. The doctor told that after the robbery, the miscreants freed everyone’s hands and legs and went away.

Police engaged in investigation

Regarding the incident, city police station incharge Vinay Pratap Singh says that the victim has not yet filed an application in the police station. After receiving the application, action will be taken after investigation.
