The Municipal Corporation has remained inactive in catching stray dogs, due to which the people of Begusarai are not only angry but also have an atmosphere of fear. On Thursday, about forty to forty-five people were targeted by stray dogs in Begusarai. According to government figures, a total of 25 people, including two policemen, were treated in Begusarai Sadar Hospital for dog bites.
25 people including two policemen became victims of stray dogs in one day
On Thursday, the number of dog bite patients started increasing suddenly from morning. By evening, this number became unexpected. In this regard, the hospital doctor Chandan Kumar Chaudhary said that a total of 25 dog bite patients were treated in Begusarai on Thursday. He also said that eating rotten or infected cheese on the roadside during the rainy season causes such a condition in dogs that they start biting people. However, to prevent this, rabies medicine is available in Begusarai hospital. The patients who reached Sadar Hospital after being bitten by a dog appeared worried and scared. Most of the patients said that they had come out of their house for work or to buy household goods, when suddenly the dog attacked them, due to which they were seriously injured.
People are upset with the mayor’s indifferent attitude
Some patients say that many stray dogs are so dangerous that wherever they bite, they tear off the flesh from there. Not only this, the dogs are so vicious that they target different parts of the body without any reason. At present, people are scared of dangerous dogs in the streets of Begusarai and are cursing the Begusarai Mayor. They say that the Municipal Corporation Mayor is not concerned with all these problems.
