There has been a double murder in Rohtas. Villagers claim that both have been shot dead. The incident took place near the canal road in Dharupur village of Bikramganj. After the incident, there was a stir in the area. People from the surrounding area gathered. On receiving the information, the police of Bikramganj police station reached the spot. Police took the bodies of two youths into custody. A bike has also been recovered from the spot. Both the youths have not been identified.
Police is trying to identify the bike based on its number
On the information of the villagers, the police has reached the spot and the FSL team is also being called. The number of the bike recovered from the spot is BR44Q – 9473. The number of the Hero Splendor bike is of Buxar district. Which is registered in the name of a woman. The police is trying to identify the deceased on the basis of the bike number.
Police said- both were brought here and killed
On receiving the information of the incident, SDPO Kumar Sanjay of Bikramganj reached the spot and started investigation. He said that prima facie it appears that both the youths were brought here and killed. At present, efforts are being made to identify the deceased. And the police is investigating every angle. At present, the process of taking the dead body of the deceased into custody and sending it to Sasaram Sadar Hospital for postmortem is being done.
