A major train accident has been averted on the first day of the New Year. Farakka-Delhi Express (UP 13483) passed on the broken track early on Monday morning. This incident happened on Khusrupur Up Man Line in Patna. The track was broken into two parts. By the time the railway personnel became aware of it, the Farakka Express train passed at 4.05 in the morning. When the railway personnel investigated the matter after the train passed, they were stunned. Immediately it was given to the control of Railway Division Danapur. PWI team from Fatuha reached the spot. After this, the railway workers worked hard to repair the track.

The track was repaired after four hours of hard work

It is being told that a track was cracked near Khusrupur railway platform in Patna during the night. It is being told that no one in the Railways had any information about the cracks in the track of about one inch. In the same sequence, the Up train going from Farakka to Delhi passed through the cracked track at 4:05 in the morning. Meanwhile, when the railway officials got information about this, they were shocked. Railway officials immediately reached the spot and the track was repaired after about four hours of hard work.

Tracks sometimes crack in cold weather

A railway official, on the condition of anonymity, said that it often happens during winter days that sometimes there is a possibility of cracks in the railway tracks. He said that a track of the up line was cracked by about an inch at the Khusrupur platform. He clarified that no damage has been caused by this at present. Till the track was repaired, the train was made to pass through the loop line.
