A farmer was shot dead in Nalanda on Tuesday night. The matter is of Balwapur village under Gokulpur police station area. The deceased has been identified as Santosh Yadav (35), son of Vijay Yadav, resident of Balwapur village. On Wednesday morning, the family reached Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital with the help of police for the post-mortem of the dead body. He is demanding the arrest of the murderer.

Kok told that Santosh Yadav had gone to the barn last night with two other people of the same village to collect the crop. Then suddenly a dozen miscreants arrived there and shot Santosh with bullets. Due to which he died on the spot. Whereas two other people were not even touched by the miscreants. After the miscreants left, the villagers gathered and informed the local police.
Fear of murder due to old rivalry
There is talk that the farmer was murdered by being shot with bullets in a planned manner due to old enmity and money transactions. The young man was hit by a total of five bullets. He was shot near the eye, in the stomach, in the hand, in the head and in the back. The family members are not telling anything clearly about the reasons for the murder. The incident took place in a barn located 3 kilometers south of the village.

The atmosphere of the village became sad due to the screams of the family members. Father’s leg was broken a few days ago and he is undergoing treatment in Bihar Sharif. The farmer was the elder of two brothers.

Gokulpur Police Station President Shivam Kumar Suman said that on receiving information about the murder, police immediately reached the spot and took possession of the body and sent it to Bihar Sharif Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The incident has been carried out by a dozen unknown miscreants. Prima facie the investigation has revealed a case related to past rivalry. The application has not been received yet by the family members.
