There was a stir in Patna Medical College Hospital, the largest hospital of Bihar, when suddenly smoke started coming out from the room of a medical student. It is being told that a fire broke out in a room of Chanakya Hostel of PMCH. In this, all the things kept in the room were burnt to ashes. The incident occurred around 12 o’clock on Tuesday night.

The fire was caused by short circuit

It is being told that the fire started and blazed in the room of a medical student located on the second floor. Due to this, many things including the bed of the medical student were burnt to ashes. The medical student said that the fire was caused by short circuit. After receiving the information, three fire tenders reached the spot and immediately brought the fire under control. In this case, fire brigade officer Manoj Nat said that the fire broke out in only one room. The cause of the fire was short circuit.

Chaos in the hostel

A sudden fire caused by a short circuit created panic among the medical students living in the hostel. Although the students present at the spot tried to extinguish the fire but it did not extinguish. Later he informed the local police station, dial 112 and fire brigade. Within 10 minutes of receiving the information, the fire brigade reached and brought the fire under control. After the incident, PHCH management has ordered an investigation.
