A fish trader was murdered in Supaul. On Wednesday night, criminals shot a 55-year-old fish trader to death in Malhani village under Sadar police station area. Unknown criminals shot the trader in the chest. After this, his family members rushed him to Sadar Hospital. But, here the doctors declared him dead. On hearing the news of his death, there was chaos in the family. No clear reason has been found so far for the murder. The family members have suspected murder over money transactions.
The criminals escaped after shooting him in the chest
Here, the police is busy investigating the murder case. The deceased has been identified as 55-year-old Tuntun Mukhiya, a resident of Malhani Ward No. 1 of Sadar police station area. The deceased’s brother Shivchandra Mukhiya said that there was a worship of God in the house today. After the completion of the worship, he was sitting at the door at around 9:30 pm. During this time, unknown criminals shot him in the chest and fled. Hearing the sound of the bullet, all the members of the house ran towards the door and saw that Shivchandra Mukhiya was lying on the ground covered in blood. After this, the family took him to Supaul Sadar Hospital for treatment. But he died here. There was an uproar in the family on hearing the news of death.
He had differences with many local businessmen
The family members said that the deceased was a fish trader. He used to do fish farming in 10 to 15 ponds. Due to which he had differences with many local traders. It is possible that someone killed him due to personal enmity. The family members have demanded the police administration to conduct a fair investigation and take appropriate action and arrest the murderers immediately. Here, seeing the seriousness of the incident, the police has started immediate action. Sadar SHO Prashant Kumar said that a case of murder of a fish trader by shooting has come to light. The post-mortem of the body is being done. The police has started investigating the case. Necessary information is also being taken from the family members of the deceased.
