Rosa was broken, that’s why I left her last time too

When RJD-Congress was in power in Bihar, Shyam Rajak was famous as the energy minister. After 2005, when Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took over the chair in Bihar, Shyam Rajak remained loyal to RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav, but then due to not getting a proper place in the party, he joined the ruling JDU. Shyam Rajak said in a conversation with ‘Amar Ujala’ that “Late VP Singh, RJD President Lalu Prasad Yadav and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar are aware of my hard work, but last time also I left RJD only when the trust was broken. This time there was a period of conspiracies and false assurances, due to which I have left RJD fed up. CM Nitish Kumar had given me a chance in his government. Due to some misunderstandings, I had gone from JDU to RJD, but now the whole truth has come out. I will formally join JDU on September 1 and then will put all my strength in the assembly elections for the party.” On the question of what he expects from JDU, Shyam Rajak said, “I have got the assurance that I will contest the election from my constituency Phulwarisharif. This was not a condition, but I have got the assurance.”
