You must have also heard that a mobile was ordered, but when the box was opened, something else was found in it. Have you ever heard that the company sends the ordered goods, but the parcel does not reach you but reaches cyber thugs. Three cunning people playing a similar game have been caught from a village in Gaya district. The case is of Regania village of Aams police station area.
Many big states of the country were the target of cyber thugs
In this regard, Senior SP Ashish Bharti said that information was received that anti-social elements gather in a house under construction near Regania village of Aams police station area. Based on the information, a special police team raided the house under construction in the village. During the raid, two miscreants managed to escape, but three miscreants were caught on the spot. During the search, a large number of mobile phones, SIM cards, metal like gold coins and many other items were recovered from the under-construction house.
He used to cheat by luring people with huge offers
He told that during interrogation of the three arrested youths, they told that we target the customers who shop in online companies like Amazon and Flipkart. We cheat customers from different big states of the country. Cyber thugs told that they used to make the customers who shop online from these companies pay through D Mart app in the name of huge offers and used to order goods at their desired address. After that they used to sell those goods in the markets. During mobile investigation, a total of 06 cases have been registered, two each from Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Telangana. Along with this, many evidences of cheating have also been found from the thugs. He told that raids are being conducted to arrest other members of the cyber thugs.
These people were arrested
In the case of online fraud, the police of Aams police station has arrested three smart cyber fraudsters. These include Mohammed Meraj alias Pappu, son of Mohammed Serajuddin, resident of Regania village of Aams police station area, Mohammed Arman Akhtar, resident of Naudara village of Guraru police station and Kanhaiya Kumar alias Chhotu, son of Chotan Prasad, resident of Kuser village under Karpi police station of Arwal district.
