After the death of a two and a half year old of Harlochpur Panchayat Ward 14 of Sakra police station area of Muzaffarpur district of Bihar, the family members created ruckus and raised slogans in the hospital. The family alleged that the girl was given an injection by an ANM at the Anganwadi center 5 days ago, after which the girl’s condition worsened. He was immediately brought to the hospital, but he died. The incident took place in Sakra police station area.
Family members accused of wrongly inserting the needle
Regarding the incident, the family members say that the girl’s health had deteriorated five days ago. The family took the girl to the Anganwadi centre. The ANM present there injected the girl, after which the girl’s condition started becoming more serious. Seeing the girl’s health deteriorating, the ANM said to go home, the girl will get well soon. But his condition worsened and he died today. The family alleges that the girl died due to wrong injection. After the incident, the family reached the hospital with the dead body of the girl and locked the hospital. The family members and the people present with them started demanding action against the accused Anganwadi nurse.
Police waiting for application
Dr Mo Masihuddin, in-charge of Sakra Referral Hospital also reached the spot. He told that the family members created an uproar over the death of a girl. The family alleges that the girl was injected recently, after which her health started deteriorating. The girl died before she could be taken to the hospital. The complaint made by the family is being investigated. If any such negligence has been done then action will be taken after investigation. Sub Inspector Shiv Prasad Paswan of Sakra police station, who was present on the spot, said that the family members were creating ruckus and during this time there was chaos in the hospital. Strict action will be taken on the basis of the application given by the family.
