Three people died in a horrific road accident in Darbhanga. The incident took place near Bajrang Chowk on SH 17 of Badgaon OP area. Late Wednesday night, three friends returning to the village on the same bike were hit by a speeding highway truck. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Two people died on the spot in the accident. The third was admitted to the hospital for treatment. He died during treatment here. Here, people angry over the incident started creating ruckus. He started demanding the arrest of the accused driver.

It is said that at around 9 pm at Bajrang Chowk, there was a massive collision between a highway and a bike which were going from Supaul towards Kamala embankment after clearing the soil. In the accident, the bodies of the youth riding the bike were shattered. The deceased has been identified as Mohd. 20 year old son of Mohd. Badrul, resident of Aasi village of Ghanshyampur police station area. Anwar and Mohd. Ansar’s 27 year old son Mohd. It is in the form of figs. The identity of the third youth who died in the hospital was Mohd. Motim’s 17 year old son Mohd. It has been done as Farhan.

Blocked the road and created a ruckus

After the incident, angry people blocked the road and created a ruckus. However, as soon as the information was received, senior officials reached the spot, pacified the angry people and restored the traffic. Mohd., resident of Asi village. Badrul along with his two friends was returning to his village Aasi from his in-laws’ house, Kothram in Biraul police station area, on a bike. During this time the accident happened. To maintain law and order, a large number of police forces including Kusheshwar Sthan and Biraul police station were deployed at the incident site. At the same time, after the announcement of compensation by Biraul Sub-Divisional Officer Umesh Kumar Bharti and SDPO Manish Chandra Chaudhary late night, people calmed down and only then the traffic could resume.
