In Nawada, after a dispute with his wife over his refusal to drink alcohol, an angry husband ended his life by consuming pesticide. The police of Rupau police station of the district recovered the body of the deceased in a suspicious condition near the high school, after which it was sent to Nawada Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
After the incident, the family members are crying inconsolably. This incident is from Telari village of Rupau police station area of the district, where the body of a person was found near Telari High School in a suspicious condition. After the death, there was chaos among the family members. The deceased person has been identified as Ratan Ram, a resident of Telari village.
It is being told that Ratan Ram was drinking alcohol continuously for two-three days. His wife Usha Devi started stopping Ratan Ram from drinking alcohol and due to this there were constant fights between the two. When the dispute increased, Ratan Ram got angry and consumed pesticide kept in the house, due to which he died.
Rupau police station SI Abhishek Kumar said that the police station received information that a person’s body was lying near Telari High School. On receiving the information, when they reached the spot, they took the body in their custody. He said that on seeing the body, it appears at first sight that the youth has committed suicide by consuming pesticide. He also said that local villagers told that there was a dispute between the husband and wife for several days, after which Ratan Ram committed suicide by consuming pesticide. At present, the police has taken the body in its custody and sent it to Sadar Hospital for postmortem.
