Jamadar died in a horrific road accident in Nalanda. He was crossing the road when he was crushed by a speeding truck. There was panic in the area after the incident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, people angry over the incident blocked the road and started creating ruckus. He was demanding the arrest of the truck driver. The matter is near Dharampur village of Bihta-Sarmera two-lane under Chandi police station area. The deceased has been identified as Awadhesh Jamadar (51), son of Babu Chand Jamadar, resident of Ganipur village of Hilsa police station area.
Went to see a girl for my son’s wedding
The family told that riding a bike, Awadhesh Jamadar along with his brother-in-law Rasmani had gone to Ismailpur in Nagarnausa police station area to look for a girl for his son. After seeing the girl from here, he was returning home with his brother-in-law. Meanwhile, Abadhesh Jamadar had to meet a family near Dharampur in Chandi. He got down from the bike and started crossing the road. Suddenly a speeding truck crushed them. The accident was so horrific that the Jamadar died on the spot.
Angry villagers blocked the road
Here, after the incident, angry villagers blocked the road. However, the police reached the spot and pacified the matter by assuring action. As soon as the family members got information about the incident, there was an uproar among the family members. Chandi Police Station Officer Ravindra Kumar said that raids are going on in search of the truck driver. Some people are being interrogated. Further action is going on in the matter.
