There is no trace of JE Pawan Kumar Bansal of Water Resources Department posted in Gopalganj even after 24 hours. He is missing since 12 noon on Sunday. He was last seen on flood duty near the sluice gate of Saran Dam in Gausia of Manjhagarh block. But, his mobile was switched off after 12 noon. Since then, district officials and JE’s family are continuously trying to contact him, but no trace of him is being found.
JE is a resident of Munger
JE Pawan Kumar Bansal of Water Resources Department is a resident of Munger district of Bihar. His uncle Rajkishore Mandal alias Jai Kishore Mandal told that he is getting married on 11th July. His Tilak ceremony was on 7th July. But just a few hours before the Tilak ceremony, his mobile was switched off. The family is scared of some untoward incident. The information about the disappearance of JE was given to his family on Sunday itself. Here, the uncle of the missing JE, Rajkishore Mandal told on the phone that he will meet Sadar SDPO Pranjal of Gopalganj. A written complaint will be lodged in the city police station regarding his disappearance.
Last seen at sluice gate
The police administration, which went out in search of the missing JE, reached the sluice gate of Saran Dam in Gausia. From where he was last seen on duty. There are drought-like conditions on both sides of that dam. There are no flood-like conditions there. This means that there is no possibility of drowning or flowing away in the water. Some local people of Gausia village had seen him on Sunday morning. They are also denying the possibility of any untoward incident with the JE.
Possibly Jey didn’t want to get married?
Former Mukhiya and current Mukhiya representative of Gausia Panchayat Radha Raman Mishra said that from Sadar SDM to Manjhagarh police, everyone is investigating the disappearance of JE. The family members are also in constant touch with the former Mukhiya. Some people are also speculating that perhaps JE Pawan Kumar Bansal did not want to attend his upcoming wedding ceremony. He may not have wanted to get married. Due to this, he may have gone missing after switching off his mobile from duty due to fear of marriage. However, now it will be known only after police investigation what is the real reason behind his disappearance. Has there been an accident somewhere or has he gone missing after switching off his mobile.
