Expansion

In the election environment, Tejashwi Yadav kept talking about giving jobs in 17 months, the effect of which was seen in the result of the Lok Sabha elections. While thinking about victory and defeat, the government also understood this and so as soon as the code of conduct of the Lok Sabha elections ended, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took the decision in the first cabinet meeting that the 10 lakh jobs and 10 lakh employment that he had talked about after the 2020 assembly elections, now has to be completed before the next election i.e. Bihar Legislative Assembly elections. He said that half the work has been done and the other half has to be completed as soon as possible. The Chief Minister said that under 2020-25, a target was set to provide 10 lakh government jobs and 10 lakh employment under Saat Nishchay – 2, implemented from 15 December 2020. So far, 5 lakh 16 thousand people have been given government jobs. The appointment process related to 1 lakh 99 thousand government jobs has also been completed. The government says that appointment letters will be distributed in the next three months.

There will be 5 lakh 17 thousand government jobs

Requisition for 2 lakh 11 thousand new appointments has been sent to various commissions, while preparations are being made to send requisition to various commissions for appointment on 2 lakh 34 thousand posts. Thus, requisition has either been sent to various commissions for appointment to a total of 5 lakh 17 thousand government jobs or is under process. A target has been set to complete the appointment by the year 2024-25. The Chief Minister said that against the target of giving 10 lakh government jobs set by the Chief Minister under Saat Nishchay – 2, more than 12 lakh people will be given government jobs by next year. However, more than 22 lakh jobs have been created so far, while a target has been set to create a total of more than 11 lakh employment opportunities in the year 2024-25.

A law will be made to prevent question paper leaks

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that there should be complete transparency in the examinations conducted for appointment, so that there is no irregularity in the examination. Also, a strict law will be made to ensure that the question paper is not leaked. A proposal for this will be brought in the upcoming session of the Legislative Assembly.

More than 12 lakh people will get government jobs by the year 2024-25

Under Saat Nishchay-2, 5 lakh 16 thousand appointments have been made. Apart from this, 1 lakh 99 thousand appointment letters are ready for distribution. Also, appointments are in process against 5 lakh 17 thousand vacancies i.e. (5 lakh 16 thousand + 1 lakh 99 thousand + 5 lakh 17 thousand) A target of providing more than 12 lakh government jobs has been set by the year 2024-25. Thus, crossing the target of providing 10 lakh government jobs set under the Chief Minister’s Saat Nishchay 2, more than 12 lakh people will be given government jobs by the year 2024-25.
