Monday morning started with the news of a major accident in Bihar. On the highway in Khagaria, an SUV hit a tractor from behind with such force that there was an outcry. In this horrific accident, nine people including a father and two sons died while three people were injured. The injured have been sent from Khagaria Sadar Hospital to Mayaganj Hospital in Bhagalpur for better treatment. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and started investigation.

Due to this, seven people traveling in the vehicle died on the spot while two died during treatment in Sadar Hospital Khagaria.

The deceased have been identified as Gautam Kumar, 32, son of Vinod Thakur, Monu Kumar, 7, son of Umesh Thakur, Aman Kumar, 25, son of Pramod Kumar, Vikas Thakur, 47, son of Shanti Thakur, Anshu Kumar, 23, son of Vikas Thakur and 10 Dilon Kumar, 50 year old son of Ram Thakur, Paltu Thakur, 50 year old son of Ram Thakur, Prakash Singh, 48 year old son of Rohan Singh and Dharmendra Kumar (driver), son of Kari Sharma. After the incident, the local police reached the spot and sent all the bodies to Sadar Hospital Khagaria for post-mortem.
