The dispute between Raj Bhavan and Education Department in Bihar is not stopping. On Wednesday, the Education Department had lifted the ban on the salaries of the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations of the University. After this, the meeting was called again on March 9. Now a new order has come from Raj Bhavan in this matter. This order has been issued to the Vice-Chancellors, Registrars and Controllers of Examinations of the University. In the letter issued by Raj Bhavan, it has been clearly stated that the Vice Chancellor will not leave the headquarters without taking permission from the Chancellor (Governor). After this order, the conflict between the Education Department and Raj Bhavan may increase again.

Education Department lodged FIR against Vice Chancellors

Let us tell you that on February 28, a meeting was called by the Education Department under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary KK Pathak. In this, the Vice Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations of all the universities were ordered to attend the meeting. But, these university officials were not given permission by Raj Bhavan to attend the meeting. After this, all these officers including the Vice Chancellor did not attend the meeting of the Education Department. After this, the Education Department stopped the salaries of all the Vice-Chancellors, Registrars and Controller of Examinations. Not only this, the education department also issued them a show cause notice. When no response was received, an FIR was lodged against these officers. After this, Raj Bhavan called the Chief Secretary and ordered to take action against the Education Department officials.

In case of Vice-Chancellor the competent authority is the Chancellor

On Wednesday, the Education Department lifted the freeze on the salaries of the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar and Controller of Examinations and ordered them to come to the meeting again on March 9. After this Raj Bhavan took cognizance of this matter. Ordered that the Vice Chancellor of any university will not leave the headquarters without permission. Permission will be taken in writing or over telephone. In case of Vice Chancellor, the competent authority is the Chancellor (Governor). Raj Bhavan will take action against those who do not follow the order.
