Even today there is silence in the village
Even after three years have passed, the people of the village are scared. The land for which so much bloodshed took place is still lying barren. The Home Guard soldiers deployed to protect the victim’s family are silent witnesses that despite the justice process, restoration of peace is still far away. The houses of those convicted are locked, giving silent testimony to this tragic incident.
