There is liquor ban in Bihar, meanwhile a Home Guard soldier was found while performing duty in an inebriated condition. Someone made a video of it and made it viral on social media. After the video went viral, the SP took action and sent the accused soldier to jail. The incident took place in the zonal office under Mahua police station. The accused jawan has been identified as home guard Amit Kumar, who was posted in Mahua zonal office.

Regarding the incident, local people say that Home Guard jawan Amit Kumar is often under the influence of alcohol and keeps doing misdeeds with people. Amit used to beat up anyone in his uniform. Amit Kumar was seen saying in the video that you people have insulted me, you will accept it only by taking my job. In this regard, the police officer says that the drunken house guard Amit Kumar was seen in an inebriated condition in the Mahua zonal office. Some people had posted the video of the drunk home guard jawan on social media. That video started going viral rapidly. Due to this, Vaishali Police started getting disgraced. After this, the SP took action and ordered the arrest of drunken home guard jawan Amit Kumar. Medical examination of Amit Kumar was conducted, in which consumption of alcohol was confirmed.

In this regard, Vaishali Police Superintendent Harkishore Rai said that on December 10, Mahua police station received information that the home guard deployed in the zonal office was drunk. As soon as the information was received, the Mahua police station caught the said house guard and brought him to the police station and got him tested with a breath analyzer machine, in which it was confirmed that he had consumed alcohol. In the above case, a case has been registered in Mahua police station and the said house guard Amit Kumar has been sent to judicial custody.
