On the occasion of Holi festival, migrant laborers are now bringing liquor along with them to celebrate Holi while returning home. One such case has come to light from Darbhanga district of Bihar. Actually, the passengers traveling in the bus coming from Delhi to Kusheshwarsthan became suspicious of a passenger. After this, when the driver and conductor checked a bag, a huge quantity of liquor bottles and pouches were found. After this the bus driver removed the concerned passenger from the bus. As soon as this matter came to light, Darbhanga Police became alert and started thoroughly checking the buses coming to the district from other states.
It is noteworthy that there is liquor ban in Bihar, where liquor will not be available legally. In such a situation, to ensure that Holi does not remain dry, migrant laborers returning from abroad to celebrate Holi with their families are also bringing liquor with them.

This came to light when the passengers traveling in the bus suspected that there was some objectionable item in the bag. After this the passengers informed the bus driver and staff. After that the bus was stopped and the luggage was searched and several bottles and pouches of liquor were recovered from it. After that the concerned passenger was deboarded from the bus and the local police was informed. In such a situation, it remains to be seen how Darbhanga Police will deal with such passengers.
