Former Chief Minister of the state and NDA candidate from Gaya, Jitan Ram Manjhi, while addressing the stage, said that the inter-section Falgu river should be made a continuous section by bringing water from Son river. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reached Gaya. His meeting is at Gandhi Maidan in Gaya. Before he reached the venue, thousands of BJP workers gathered at the meeting and demanded declaring India as a Hindu nation. The BJP worker said that the PM has done many such works including removing Article 370, so he can do it. Hindus are in majority in the country, hence BJP workers demanded declaring India as a Hindu nation. After landing at Gaya airport, the Prime Minister left for Gandhi Maidan by road.
