The world famous Mahabodhi Temple located in Gaya district of Bihar had received a bomb threat. Bihar Police is on alert after threat to blow up the temple with bombs. Various security agencies of the country are trying to find out the authenticity of the threatening letter. Also, Gaya Police has made full preparations to deal with any untoward incidents. Police forces have been deployed at every nook and corner of the Mahabodhi Temple. The security personnel deployed for the protection of Mahabodhi Temple have been provided with special security equipment as well as bullet proof vehicles.

In this regard, Senior SP Ashish Bharti said that the security arrangements of Mahabodhi Temple of Bodh Gaya have been increased. The security personnel and police officials deployed for the protection of Mahabodhi Temple have been provided with new state-of-the-art equipment as well as bullet proof vehicles for patrolling. He said that Gaya Police and other security forces have started patrolling with new equipment around the Mahabodhi Temple. The main objective of this campaign is to ensure that there is no shortcoming in the security arrangements for the devotees and tourists coming from India and abroad to the Mahabodhi Temple. So that everyone coming can get security and peaceful environment.
Threat to blow up Mahabodhi temple was received through letter.
Last week, members of the Mahabodhi Temple Committee had received a threat to blow up the temple with a bomb through a letter. It was told that it was given by Prince Khan, a notorious gangster of Wasseypur in Jharkhand state. lSI has also been mentioned in the threatening letter. After receiving the letter threatening to blow up Mahabodhi Temple, along with Gaya Police, various security agencies of the country have also become active. After that, raids have been started at various places to arrest Gangster Prince. But he did not get it.
