14 people were involved in a horrific road accident in Lakhisarai district of Bihar. Of these, nine people died while the condition of five is critical. The injured have been referred to Patna for better treatment. The incident took place on NH 30 near Jhalauna village of Ramgarh Chowk police station area. A speeding truck coming from the wrong side hit the tempo full of passengers. The collision was so severe that eight people died on the spot. The tempo driver died during treatment. There was panic in the area after the accident. There was a crowd of people nearby. Here, as soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and started investigating. With the help of local people, the police got the injured admitted to the hospital.

The deceased were identified as 24-year-old twin sons of Veer Paswan, resident of Chhoti Keshopur in Jamalpur area of Munger district, Vikas and Vinay, 20-year-old son of Chetan Paswan, Deewana and 18-year-old son of Amit Kumar, 18-year-old son of Dharmendra Paswan, Monu, 17-year-old son of Heera Paswan. 18 year old son Rohit and Upendra Paswan’s 18 year old son Anuj Shamil. Apart from those injured, Sagar Kumar, Hrithik Kumar, Sushil Kumar are also included. The others have not been identified yet. The auto driver was identified as Manoj Kumar, resident of Lakhisarai.
Speeding truck hits tempo
According to the police, all the people traveling in the tempo were going to Lakhisarai railway station after finishing the catering work in Sikandra. He wanted to go to his home by train. Meanwhile, a speeding truck hit the tempo on NH 30. Police say that information has been sent to the relatives of the deceased. Raids are going on in search of the truck driver. After the arrival of the relatives, all the dead bodies will be sent for post-mortem.
