A girl from West Bengal was brutally murdered in Patna. His body was found in the room of a house located in Gardanibagh, the residential colony closest to the Bihar Assembly. The shocking thing is that there was a very strong smell coming from the dead body. The dead body of the girl was lying in the room for the last 10 days. On Thursday, after a strong smell came from the room, the landlord informed the Gardnibagh police station. After receiving the information, police from Gardanibagh police station reached the spot. The room was locked from outside.
Here, the police were stunned when they entered the room by breaking the lock of the room. The girl’s body was lying on the floor, wrapped in a sheet soaked in blood. Regarding this matter, Gardanibagh police station in-charge said that the girl has been identified as Kusum Ghosh (22), resident of Vardhaman, West Bengal. She was married. Kusum Ghosh was missing from her house for almost one and a half months. The family members had lodged a missing complaint of Kusum at Vardhaman police station. After the case was registered, Vardhaman police had reached Patna a few days ago and on the basis of location, had gone to Saristabad in Gardanibagh, where Kusum was living in a rented house. But after seeing the room locked from outside, the police returned from there.
One and a half month ago a boy and a girl had reached there
The station in-charge told that that house belongs to a widow woman Babita Devi. The police station in-charge said that the landlord had told them that about one and a half months ago a boy and a girl had reached there. Boy Gautam Kumar and girl Sumaiya Akhtar had taken the house on rent citing that they were working as event managers in a company. After a few days, both of them reached there together with Kusum Ghosh.
Kusum Ghosh’s murder became a mystery
It is being told that about 10 days ago, Gautam Kumar and Sumaiya Akhtar switched off the camera from outside and ran away. Even after that he never came here. On Thursday, after a strong smell came from the room, nearby people and the landlord informed the Gardnibagh police station. After receiving the information, police reached the spot and recovered the body of Kusum Ghosh from the room. The station in-charge said that after the arrival of his family members, the police will send the body from there for post-mortem. The family members have been informed about this. He told that the family members have asked the police to wait till they reach Patna. Local people say that now the murder of Kusum Ghosh has become a puzzle for the police. How did Kusum Ghosh come in contact with Gautam after getting married? The police will also investigate when and with whom she came to Patna from Vardhaman. Only after the arrival of the family members, the police can investigate the reasons behind the murder in depth.

Secretariat DSP Sushil Kumar said that on February 8, a foul smell was reported from a flat in 70 feet Saristabad area of Gardanibagh area. After this, the police broke the lock of the door of the magistrate’s presence room and went inside. The dead body of a 22 year old girl was found here. Further action is being taken in the matter. Here, local people say that the dead body of the girl is lying in the room. The family members have said that the body of the girl should not be picked up until they reach here. The police is waiting for his family to reach Patna from Vardhaman.
