In Jamui, masked criminals attacked the former chief with swords and sticks, leaving him seriously injured. The family members immediately brought him to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Due to Mukhiya’s serious condition, the doctor referred him to PMCH. The injured chief has been identified as Bambam Pandit, former head of Goli Panchayat of Khaira block area. Suddenly eight criminals attacked
Regarding the incident, family members told that late on Thursday evening, former chief Bambam Pandit, resident of Mudvaro of his Panchayat, went in Scorpio to meet the local people. Went to Zainul Mian’s house. When everyone was sitting near his house and drinking tea, about eight armed masked criminals suddenly attacked BamBam Pandit with swords and sticks. The criminals attacked the former chief twice with a sword on his head and twice on his neck. The former chief was seriously injured in this incident. After the incident, when the local people raised an alarm, all the criminals fled from the spot.
There was rivalry regarding PACS elections
Regarding the incident, former Mukhiya’s driver Amit Pandit said that even before this, a fatal attack had been made on Bambam Pandit. Amit Pandit said that this incident has been carried out due to rivalry regarding PACS elections. In the PACS elections, former chief Bambam Pandit had helped his close representative, resident of Mudvaro village. People from the other camp were angry with this and as soon as he reached Mudvaro village on Thursday evening, eight people attacked him. According to the information, Bambam Pandit has been elected to the post of head thrice from Goli Panchayat. However, this time he was defeated. Meanwhile, Khaira police station in-charge Nitish Kumar said that information has been received about a fatal attack on the former chief. The entire matter is being investigated. At present the injured chief has been sent to PMCH for treatment.
