Bihar: Again a newly married woman was murdered in Bihar. People from the girl’s side allege that the boy has illicit relations with other women. There was also a demand for a Bullet car as dowry. Now the dead body of the newly married woman has been found. The police is investigating the matter

In Vaishali, her in-laws have been accused of murdering a newly married woman. The incident took place in Kanhauli Dhanraj village of Mahua police station area. The deceased has been identified as Neelu Kumari, wife of Sujit Kumar, resident of Kanhauli Dhanraj. As soon as information about the incident was received, nearby people gathered at the spot. People informed the police of Mahua police station about the incident. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and sent the body to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. After the incident, the woman’s in-laws locked all the houses and ran away. Police has started taking further action.

Accusing each other of having illicit relations

Regarding the incident, the brother of the deceased woman alleged that there were two reasons behind the murder of his sister. The first reason is that her brother-in-law has an illicit relationship with another woman and the second reason is that because Bullet’s demand for dowry was not met, they took my sister’s life. The brother alleges that the in-laws were demanding Bullet since the marriage. On the other hand, our in-laws always beat and tortured our sister by accusing her of having an illicit relationship. My in-laws killed my sister for not giving me the bullet.

The groom who came to bid farewell had said that he will kill me so let’s go home.

Regarding the incident, family members told that Neelu Kumari, resident of Paru village of Muzaffarpur district, was married to Sujit Kumar about 6 months ago. There was a talk with the family members at 10 o’clock on Sunday morning. She had also come to her in-laws’ house 15 days before from her parents’ home. Sujit had threatened to kill his wife in his in-laws house itself. In this regard, Mahua Police Station President Subhash Prasad said that after receiving information about the body of a woman being found in Kanhauli Dhanraj, the body was sent to Sadar Hospital for post-mortem. The application has not been submitted by the family members of the deceased. The entire matter is being thoroughly investigated.
