Patna News: Family members said that Anita Devi had gone to the market for marketing and did not return home till late night. On Sunday morning, the police recovered the body of the woman in a street 100 meters away from the house.

In Athmagola police station of Barh subdivision of Patna, criminals killed a woman by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon. On receiving information about the incident, the police reached the spot and took the body of the woman in their custody. After the incident, the police called the FSL team on the spot and started investigating the case. The deceased woman has been identified as Anita Devi, 35 years old. It is being told that the woman was living in her maternal home for the last two years. On Saturday, she went to the market for marketing and did not return home till late night. On Sunday morning, the police recovered the body of the woman in a mutilated condition in a street at a distance of 100 meters from the house.
The parents started looking for the woman
It is being told that the woman was living in her Mike’s house in Neerpur for the last two years. The woman is married in Masaurhi. Family members told that on Saturday the woman had gone to Fatuha market to bring her jewellery. When she did not return home till late night, her parents started searching for the woman. Family members told that when the woman was contacted on phone, her phone was switched off. The family members tried a lot to find Anita Devi in the nearby areas and at the relatives’ house. Even after this, no trace of Anita Devi was found. On Sunday morning, the family members got the information that Anita Devi’s body was lying in a serious condition at some distance from the house. The family members rushed to the spot and people identified Anita Devi’s body.
Police is trying to find out the reason behind the murder
The family members have expressed apprehension that something wrong might have happened to Anita Devi before the murder. The local people informed the Athmalgola police station about this. On receiving the information, the police reached the spot and started investigating the case. On talking to DSP 2 Abhishek Singh of Barh subdivision regarding this matter, he told that the woman Anita Devi used to live in her maternal house and raise both the children. He said that there was no dispute of any kind with her in-laws. She had good relations with her husband and from time to time her husband also used to visit her maternal house. The police is trying to find out what is the reason behind the murder of Anita Devi?
