After being denied ticket in Lok Sabha elections, BJP MP from Muzaffarpur seat Ajay Nishad will join Congress today. He will take membership of Congress in Delhi. Ajay Nishad is angry because of the ticket being cut. Expressing his displeasure to the BJP leadership, he also resigned from the primary membership. He can now contest elections from Muzaffarpur on the symbol of Congress party. This time BJP has given ticket to Dr. Rajbhushan Chaudhary, who left Mukesh Sahni’s party. Dr. Rajbhushan was defeated by Ajay Nishad by 409988 votes in the last election.
BJP gave ticket to Dr. Rajbhushan Chaudhary
In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, Ajay Nishad, contesting on BJP ticket, got 659833 votes. Whereas Mukesh Sahni’s party VIP candidate Rajbhushan Chaudhary got 254832 votes. This time Rajbhushan Chaudhary joined BJP. BJP did not give ticket to its MP Ajay Nishad. Dr. Rajbhushan Chaudhary was made the candidate from Muzaffarpur. Ajay Nishad got angry regarding this matter. Even he did not expect that his ticket would be canceled like this. But, an even bigger shock for Ajay Nishad was that the BJP played a bet on the candidate whom he had defeated by a huge margin.
‘Modi’s family’ tag also removed
On Tuesday morning, MP Ajay Nishad distanced himself from Modi’s family. He also removed the ‘Modi’s family’ tag from his social media platforms. If sources are to be believed, he had a meeting with the Congress high command in Delhi on Monday. He can join Congress at around 12 noon today. Before joining Congress, he broke ties with BJP.
