An incident that puts relationships to shame has come to light in Hajipur of Vaishali district. A nephew stabbed his maternal uncle to death and threw the body in a pond near the Hajipur railway line to hide the evidence. The incident took place in Adalwari of Sadar police station area. The deceased was Sunil Kumar (25), son of late Mahesh Sah, a resident of Ghataro village of Kartaha police station area. While the accused of his murder was the deceased’s nephew Suraj Kumar. Suraj is originally a resident of Lakhimpur in Uttar Pradesh. Sunil was the younger of two brothers. The deceased has two sons. The deceased Sunil’s mother Savitri Devi died 20 days ago. At present, the maternal uncle and nephew lived together in a rented house in Hajipur. His murderer is the deceased’s nephew Suraj Kumar (19), who has been arrested by the police. The body has been taken into custody and sent to Sadar Hospital Hajipur for postmortem. And investigation of the case has started.

The deceased’s elder brother Gorakh Kumar Sah said that Suraj (19) used to sell water at Hajipur Junction with his younger uncle Sunil. Suraj was not married. That is why he used to repeatedly talk to his aunt about getting married. Initially people were taking it as a joke but when this matter was taken seriously then both the uncle and aunt opposed it. The result of this opposition was that both the three would start fighting.
