In Nawada, miscreants first gang-raped a 60-year-old woman and then slit her throat and private parts. The incident took place in Khali Bigha village of Nagar police station area. Police have arrested four accused involved in this incident. The deceased was identified as Pancho Devi (60), wife of Ramdev Chauhan, resident of Jahana village under Manpur police station area of Gaya district. Akbarpur is her maternal home where she was coming with her husband.
Throat and private parts cut after gangrape
Regarding the incident, Sadar DSP Ajay Kumar says that the funeral procession of martyr Chandan Kumar was taken out on 25th December. Due to the huge crowd during this journey, she got separated from her husband. Meanwhile, an e-rickshaw driver coaxed the woman and made her sit on the e-rickshaw. On the way, the e-rickshaw driver also made four of his friends sit and then kept taking the woman here and there till late night. Then, when she was deserted, Ambedkar took the woman behind the hostel and gang-raped her one by one. Not only this, after the incident the miscreants first slit the woman’s throat and then cut her private parts.
Husband filed a case
The husband of the deceased filed a case in this incident. After the case was registered, the police scanned the CCTV around the incident spot, in which the police identified the five accused as Sunil Yadav, Vipin Yadav, Pintu Yadav, Niranjan Yadav and Karu Yadav. All these accused are residents of Gondapur village. Police arrested four accused, while Karu Yadav has absconded. Police are conducting intensive raids to arrest him.
